Holiday Parks

The way in which electricity is purchased on holiday parks such as caravan parks, cabins, apartments and chalets is now changing. Many parks are now looking to reduce their carbon footprints by ensuring it’s customers use only what energy is necessary, and Electric Meter Sales offers the most popular service currently in the United Kingdom to do just that.

Contactless Prepayment Electricity Meters

Before EMS introduced it’s Contactless Prepayment System, customers could effectively use as much energy as they wanted by simply plugging in, however with EMS you can now control just what your customers use by ensuring all electricity is prepaid for.

Our Prepayment Electricity Card Meter is the most advanced contactless prepayment system currently on the market and is rapidly pushing aside it’s competitors older versions.

The EMS301 Card Meter uses the latest RFID technology, which means no more damp cards that don’t work! Simply hold your RFID card near the interface for the credit to register. All of our cards are encoded to work only with the onsite meters with a unique site code meaning they cannot be used elsewhere and are made of a hard durable plastic which also makes them reprogrammable.

We currently offer three options which allow our cards to be reprogrammed:

Wholesaler Pay Station – This allows the wholesaler to top-up their cards with a small plug and play device. Simple and easy to use, simply press the button on the side of the device to your required amount in denominations between £1.00 and £50.00 and hold the card up to the device to top up.

Coin Pay Station – Can be situated in a lobby or reception to allow tenants to top up cards themselves by inserting coins into the station and holding their card up to the interface.

Note Reader – Can also be situated in a lobby or reception to allow tenants to top up cards themselves by inserting notes into the station and holding their card up to the interface.

The meter also offers a Standing Charge feature as well as an Emergency Credit option and does not require an annual license to operate.

MID and Ofgem Compliant

Our EMS301 Card Meter conform to all MID (Measuring Instrument Directive) and Ofgem requirements ensuring that our customers can feel at ease knowing that all electricity consumed is recharged accurately in compliance with UK and European Legislation.
